MATTHEW TERZIAN
Board of Education - Candidate
Matt is a wealth manager who has over two decades of investment and capital markets experience having managed over $2 billion of assets, including equities, fixed income and real estate in his career. Matt provides investment and wealth management services to a select group of individuals, families and institutions across the state of Connecticut as well as across the country. He is a Senior Wealth Manager at Advisors Capital Management, and has spent time as Portfolio Managers at such firms as Resources Management Corp; Bradley, Foster & Sargent and BNY Mellon Wealth Management.
Matt is a CFA charter holder and holds the CFP® designation. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Education in Litchfield, CT. Previously, Matt was a founding board member of KidsPlay Children’s Museum in Torrington, CT, a trustee for the Litchfield Historical Society, and was the Vice Chairman of the Town of Litchfield Board of Finance.
Matt is passionate about education, and has served on the Litchfield Board of Education for six years, and was part of the team that moved the merger of Litchfield Public Schools and Region 6 forward, creating Region 20. As board chair, Matt has successfully built consensus among the members and worked well with the staff as well as community.
Matt lives in Litchfield, CT with his wife, Jennifer, their three children, and their black lab, Mary. He enjoys fishing, winter sports, the beach, college football and spending time with his family. He is a published author, musician, a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a second-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. He coaches soccer and teaches martial arts to children.

DANIEL B. CLOCK
Dan is a native of Litchfield, is active in civic affairs, voluntary organizations, and maintains a local business. He graduated from Litchfield High School and attended Western New England College and The University of New England, graduating with a B.S. in Environmental Studies.
Dan and his wife have a son who graduated Litchfield High School this past year.
He has been the chairman of the Litchfield Chapter of the American Red Cross, President of the Litchfield Education Foundation, and a member of the Litchfield Volunteer Ambulance. Dan is currently serving on the Board of Education.

JOHN MOROSANI
John grew up in Litchfield and continued to return on weekends as he pursued a 32 year career in investment banking and investment management in New York. He and Joanie moved to Litchfield full time in 2007. He turned a hobby raising cattle into one of the largest grass fed beef herds in Connecticut.
While running the farm, John served on several not for profits including the White Memorial Foundation, the Litchfield Pension Commission, the Seherr-Thoss Foundation, the Oliver Wolcott Library, and the Litchfield Broadband and Wireless Commission.
In 2017 he was elected to the Litchfield Board of Education, and following the passage of the Region 20 referendum, he was elected to the Region 20 Board of Education. He serves on the Litchfield Republican Town Committee.
John is a graduate of Middlebury College and the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
